Last night at the 5th annual Future of HR Awards, southern Africa’s most outstanding, inspiring and effective leaders in human capital management, HR innovation and HR tech were honoured.

Entelect were announced the winner for Best Graduate Development Programme.

Following the Future of HR Summit, the awards brought together CEOs, CTOs, HR directors and personnel from South Africa and beyond to celebrate and explore the hyper-responsive, agile workplace of the future. Having received a bevy of outstanding entries for both organisations and individuals, this year’s winners represent the very best of the best in the South African HR industry.

The event seeks to celebrate industry leaders achieving exceptional standards of people management by showcasing strategies that make a direct impact on business performance. These innovative practices set new standards for the HR industry, reshaping HR into a cutting-edge strategic business component.

Commenting on Entelect’s achievement last night, Sheldon Lyne said: “We are honoured to have received this award. For years Entelect has run South Africa’s leading Graduate programme.

We take on some of South Africa’s brightest young university graduates, who join us with a mix of engineering, science and commerce degrees. They get to participate in this training programme, structured to accelerate their careers – giving them a clear advantage over their university peers. It’s specifically designed to immerse Software Engineering and Business Analyst graduates into real-world software development. By the time the graduates have moved through the programme, they would have been exposed to several languages and cutting-edge frameworks, which are actively being used in the industry.
