POWERX, a subsidiary of Clean Energy Africa, is the sole licensed entity in South Africa which is able to trade renewable energy between generators and consumers using the national grid. As the business scaled, POWERX required a bespoke management system to support its business of trading renewable electricity.
Entelect partnered with the team at POWERX to conceive, formulate and build the end-to-end platform which supports their core business functions related to sales tracking, supply and demand, allocation and reporting.
This new platform is now managing all aspects of the business cycle without overcomplicating functions and roles – an important consideration for their smaller operations team.
